Early Birds

Someone has to be the first one to Maine. It's usually Ronnie and Zack,
and who ever else is riding up with them. Russell and Nicole. Maybe Chris.
Load it up and get on the road again.

Sometimes they'll take their time and do some sight seeing on the way up.
Like stopping off to feed the reindeer. Score points with Santa Claus on that one.

Unloading and setting up.

I don't know how much 'night riding' these two did? Wheres the headlight...

Ronnie gets to the Camp early not just to ride. See the ladder in the background leaning on the Camp.
He and Russell put in some outside spotlights that afternoon when they arrived. Guess he didn't like the night time walk to the out-house in the dark.

Here's a few early bird group pic's from a couple of different summers.

The first thing I did on this particular weekend when I arrived, was to turn the flag around to 'face' the 'right' way. Ronnie hung his head, and said sorry Sul.
He knows I sometimes get crazy about The Flag.
I can be a tremendous ass about displaying the flag and having it hung correctly. Stupid, because at home I'll leave it flying all night, without the benefit of a spot light.

The blue represents the field of honor and should always face it's own right.
"If you were the flag, looking out at the world, true blue, is always right..!"
Sounds corny, I know, but that's how they taught me in the Navy.
